Villa Väinölä

Architect and academician Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) designed a home for his brotherengineer Väinö Aalto and it was named Väinölä. The house, completed in 1926, is located in the center of Alajärvi, close to other Aalto designed properties.
Villa Väinölä isculture house open to everyone. Many art exhibitions and events are organized there together with local actors.

Villa Väinölä can also be rented as a meeting and party space or as a residence.

Villa Väinölä is open for everyone during exhibitions, other times by agreement. Free access, welcome!
