Evijärvi Church
Evijärvi church was built in 1758-1759. The church is designed and built by Antti Hakola (born in Härmä). The church is a steep roofed cruciform church. The church was officially inaugurated on July 26, 1761. After been actively used for 100 years, first the town hall and later the church ended up with their current shapes. The most significant of the sculptures made in the church is the altar crucifix (The Savior sculpture), which was sculpted by Erkki Lahti from Evijärvi. He was also known by the name Pitti-Poja.
